Justin Demmitt
Justin Demmitt is a queer, Afro-Latino Creator from Brooklyn, New York. His work is informed by his passion for self-reflection and breaking the mold of social norms for Hispanic and Black people to be stoic in their tribulations.
He places a lot of value on individuality outside of community labels. His work could be described as intuitive, intimate, and therapeutic.
He deeply cares about these ideas because of his experience growing up struggling to find specific and intimate spaces to feel radical acceptance within himself concerning his family and peers.
He aims to create this healing space for others who feel or have felt similarly. He is interested in exploring themes of chosen family, holding space to cultivate love for oneself, and preserving grace for marginalized communities and their hardships.
